We're celebrating Women's Golf Day!  We all know that the game of golf has been long celebrated as a way to generate new business, entertain clients, and close deals.  It's about time we get a bit of the action! Created to encourage women and girls to play golf, Women's Golf Day is being celebrated around the country on June 7th. 

Women still only represent about 20 percent of the U.S. golfing population — a number that has remained largely unchanged for decades.

In a recent survey that included Executive Women Golf Association members, 79 percent of respondents agree that they can get to know a person better on the course, 73 percent say that golf has helped them develop new relationships and 62 percent credit golf with helping them try new things.

Conversely, one study from research firm Catalyst found that 46 percent of women surveyed noted exclusion from informal networks as the biggest impediment to reaching their career goals. Golf was cited as one of those networks.

Even if you're greatest golf accomplishment was a hole-in-one at your favorite miniature golf course, we promise that you'll have a fabulous time with your 6-Figures friends.

In the room we had former global CEOs, best selling authors, entrepreneurs who have scaled and are raising substantial capital, women that are exiting and launching their next big venture, women in big data, a highly acclaimed integrative healthcare CEO, big brand branding CEOs, designers and stylists, consumer product creators, healthy food company founders, and many, many other highly accomplished, award winning entrepreneurs.  Our evening set the stage for our Master Mind Series that will be included in our annual membership program, launching in early 2016!

We'll discuss topics as diverse as:
• Got a million ideas? How to pick just one and take action.
• Unique challenges women face as business owners, and how to turn them into opportunities.
• Tips for taking your business to the next level: how to stay fresh, current, and relevant.
• What you need to know to get ready to raise money & types of funding you need to know about.
• Updates on regulations for new funding opportunities, such as equity crowdfunding.

This evening will be structured in focus-group format and will be highly interactive. We'll discuss pain points and hidden opportunities. This event is designed to be the first evening in a larger 6-Figures series where we'll learn strategies, tactics, legal frameworks, for growing and scaling our businesses. Your participation at our July 14th event will directly impact the structure for our Fall series!

Our first anti-aging beauty challenge!  We discussed how we look on the outside is directly impacted by how we feel on the inside, and how nutrition, the environment, lifestyle, play time, and how we work all contribute to how well we age.  From wrinkle reduction, fuller bodied hair, cellulite reduction, and fading age spots -- we learned which wonder foods should be in all of our refrigerators.  We received the tools and tips to launch our own 30-day personal challenge to roll back the clock, reduce stress, and eliminate aches and pains, and increase our energy.  Our personal favorite -- a morning cleanse drink with spring water, lemon juice, grated ginger, cayenne pepper, tumeric, and raw honey! 

A special thank you to Carey Davidson, Founder and CEO of Tournesol Wellness for providing the space for our healing evening. 

6-Figures hosted Paula Rizzo's launch party for her new book, Listful Thinking.  We socialized, networked, and learned how to become more productive and less stressed.  A special thanks to our friends at Beyond Sushi for another fabulous catering extravaganza, to our new friends at Cocktail Caviar, and a very special thank you to Ellen Sledge and Penny Lick Ice Cream for a delicious dessert treat.  (Hint...Caviar Cocktails Caviar and Penny Lick Ice Cream...now that's a tasty combination!)
